ATESHGHA TEMPLE
The Ateshgah Fire Temple is one of Azerbaijan’s most remarkable sight. According to historical sources, before the construction of the Indian Temple Of Fire in Surakhani local people also worshiped at this site because of the “seven holes with burning flame”.
CABLE CAR IN GABALA
Gabala Cable Car is a highlight of the city. Divided into three parts, you can have an enjoyable experience with really nice views of the city from the top of Tufandgh Mountain. The cable car goes upto 1600-1900 meters.
BURNING MOUNTAIN
Yanardag also known as Burning mountain is a natural gas fire. This natural gas fire blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea. This burning mountain is different from nearby mud volcanoes.
CARPET MUSEUM
Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum displays Azerbaijani carpets and rugs of various weaving techniques and materials from various periods. It has the largest collection of Azerbaijani carpets in the world.
NIZAMI STREET
Nizami Street is a large pedestrian and shopping street in downtown Baku and is a must visit place for all the shopping lovers. The street boasts of some of the best outlets for fashion and banks.
SHAKI KHAN PALACE
Resting in the shade of 500-year-old plane trees at the top of Sheki, the lavishly decorated Palace of Sheki Khans is the most exquisite architectural monument of the khanate period.
